This week we welcome comic book creator, BHP Comics head honcho and the man behind the ever successful Glasgow Comic-Con, Sha Nazir. We chat about what it takes to run a successful con, creating comics and so much more. This is a fun relaxed chat about not only the Scottish comics industry but the industry worldwide. So give this episode a download and who knows maybe some year this little podcast will do an episode from Glasgow Comic-Con itself, I can but dream haha.

So with season 1 of the Drew Carson Show coming to an end in the coming weeks, Oct 30th being last show of the season, I have been thinking back over the show's humble origins and how it has grown. I have many friends telling me I'm crazy to have a 2 month Hiatus from the show while it is drawing the strong numbers that it is at the present but I feel the show needs to constantly adapt and change as do I. For that to happen I need to book my guests further in advance than I have in the past. I have been so blessed to have had the success with the calibre of guests that have said yes to the mad Scotsman asking them on social media to appear on a podcast they have not heard of but I need to adapt that also and approach potential guests through agents and publicists also.
Thomas G. Waites has appeared in such classic movies as John Carpenter's The Thing, Walter Hill's The Warriors and the Al Pacino starrer And Justice for all awhile carving out a spectacular career on the small screen in popular shows such as Law and Order, Buffy, Oz, NYPD Blue and Miami Vice. He is a truly great character actor, educated at the Julliard school and now teaches at a school of his own. This is not an interview to miss if you are an aspiring actor or interested in the acting world.

This week's guest is none other than real life superhero and MMA fighter Phoenix Jones. Jones patrols the mean streets of Seattle, Washington and competes for the World Series of Fighting MMA group. We discuss his origin story, what local law enforcement make of him, his super suit, his court case where he unmasked, his fighting career and so much more. This is a very inciteful interview with a very witty and funny guest that I'm sure all you guys and gals will love. The episode drops on Friday 9th October on Itunes and all other podcast apps as well as on this very blog. I will also copy and paste the link all over my own and the show's social media accounts (Facebook, Google+ and Twitter) so it shouldn't be to hard to find.
