On this week's episode we have a very special and different interview indeed. A while back I had the privilege of sitting down and chatting with activist, writer, teacher and Jonestown survivor Laura Johnston Kohl. It was very humbling to hear Ms. kohl talk candidly about her time as a member of the People's Temple and of it's leader Jim Jones. Laura also discussed her time with the Black Panthers, activism, being at Woodstock, writing her book Jonestown Survivor: An Inside Look and her journey to recovery in the years after that tragic event.
You can find out all about Laura at her website and I highly recomend her book as it is a hard to put down true life story that will shock and uplift you in equal measures.
