Each week our virtual studio will welcome a special guest from the world of entertainment, sport and politics in for a chat and to ahem... pimp their wares.
This week we welcome the editor-in-chief of Skeptic magazine, author, host of 2 TED talks and Senior Research Fellow at Claremont Graduate University Michael Shermer.
Michael, a prominent science writer and founder of the Skeptics Society is largely devoted to investigating pseudoscientific and supernatural claims. He produced and co-hosted the Fox Family Television series Exploring The Unknown and is also a scientific advisor to the American Council on Science and Health (ACSH).
We chatted about his past career as a cyclist, founding the Skeptics Society and also chatted about the Pheonix Lights phenomena of 1997 for which he is particapating in a documentary I am currently producing on the subject.
It was great to sit down and chat with Michael and I'm sure you will enjoy this one just as much as I did.
This week we welcomed the future of Country music Shane Wooten into the virtual studio! Shane is one of the final guest interviews at this particular virtual location before the big move west as the countdown has begun.
Shane started performing as a Country singer during his time university, when he founded Toys for Tykes Country Jam to help abused
children. Wooten achieved great early success with his beach song "Shovel'n Sunshine" which was #1 for seven weeks
on the Florida Country music chart. This success led to him catching the ear of the great Bellamy Brothers eye
which in turn has led to the Bellamy Brothers producing and featuring on four songs
with Shane. Shane has toured from Florida to the Midwest and has
worked hard to built a great fan base, which he looks to build upon
with his worldwide debut single “Mudslinger.”
Shane lists of influences includes Jimmy Buffett, Jim Croce, James Taylor, the Bellamy Brothers and Garth Brooks. In creating his Nationwide debut EP, Shane has written and recorded
with such greats as the Bellamy Brothers, Kenny Aronoff, Cody Webb, Metallica and John Mayer sound engineer Jim Monti and Brian
Smith of Gnarly Records who has worked on Special Projects for Taylor Swift, Rascal
Flats, Sugarland and Zac Brown.
Shane also has a great contest currently running on Twitter so please check it out at this link CONTEST for all the details folks!

This week on the Drew Carson show we welcome my buddy James Lundy into the virtual studio for a chat about his Wired comic book Kickstarter campaign, comics, politics and as the interview progresses we solve the worlds problems, maybe not, maybe just shoot the shit about a wide range of topics. Come along for the ride as James talks about the "Wired" journey from the first issue back in 2012 to 2016 on the verge of becoming a trade paperback. James is also the head honcho behind the ever popular Edinburgh Comic Con and he talks candidly about how that rose from humble beginnings to the massive success it is today.

Yes the show is back after a brief 2 week hiatus where yours truly spent most of which on a beach or by the pool with varying cocktails in sunny Corfu. We are back and back with a bang this week as we welcome voice acting legend Wally Wingert into the virtual studio.
Wally has provided voices for such animated films and television shows as Family Guy, The Garfield Show, Marvel Heroes, The Penguins Of Madagascar, The Cleveland Show and The Rugrats. His voice has also given weight to characters in major video games such as the Arkham series, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Gears Of War 2, SoulCalibur IV and Saints Row.
Wally was also the announcer on the Jay Leno Show for 835 episodes, the only one in history to be a voice over only. I had a blast chatting with Wally about his career and I'm sure you guys and gals will have a blast hearing from the man himself so make sure to subscribe, download, spread the word and all that jazz.
