This week's episode of the Drew Carson Show is dedicated to
the legendary filmmaker Wes Craven who sadly passed away this week after
battling brain cancer. Wes was often celebrated for his work in the
horror genre, creating such iconic series as Nightmare on Elm St and Scream
along with brutal classics Last House On The Left, The Hills Have Eyes, The
People Under The Stairs But Craven was far from a one genre director he
directed the great Meryl Streep to an Oscar winning performance in Music of the
Heart, Paris, je t'aime (segment: "Pere-Lachaise")
as well as the comic book film adaptation of Swamp Thing.
Craven also had a keen eye for talent giving debut roles to
the likes of Johnny Depp, Sharon Stone and Bruce Willis.
